Do you think the stimulus payment screw up was a computer glitch?
There claims to have been a glitch in the computer system that caused about 1500 stimulus payments sent to the wrong places and about 350,000 households not getting credited 0 for their children. Also it is causing a delay for those individuals who haven't recieved their payment yet.

i didn get paid the $300 for my son, they claim (the automated line) it was due to the amount of taxes i paid and my salary, but i dont think that's right and i can never get a person on the line.

yup i didnt get paid for one of my kids and i cant get a live person on the phone but my husband did and they told him to go to the tax place that did our taxes..but what are they supposed to do about the irs problem?? its ridiculous. they should have devised a better plan before they sent out the money.

With all due respect, you can blame our politicians. They shoved this rebate workload down the IRS' throat right at the height of the tax system.
