Has anyone recieved their stimulus payment on their Emerald Card yet?

I know there is a lot of confusion about whether or not you will have it deposited on your card, IRS says 'no' but H & R Block is telling us 'yes'. But I'm just looking for proof that someone has their money via Emerald Card so far.

Yesterday the first stimulus payments were sent direct deposit. I want to know if anyone who had an H & R Block Emerald Card received their payment direct deposited on it.

the irs has updated there FAQ section with the following as of 4/30, and there is also a podcast recording stating the SAME on hr blocks website.

" Q. I chose to have my tax refund deposited onto a “stored value card” or debit card through the professional tax preparer I used. Will my stimulus payment be directly deposited onto that same stored value card or debit card account?

    A. Yes, unless you requested a refund anticipation loan (RAL) through your tax professional, or the stored value card or debit card account has been closed, in which case you will receive your economic stimulus payment by paper check. [Updated 4/30/08]"

here is the link for the HR block Recording explaining how it will work.
    http://digits.hrblock.com/taxrebate/

select "Tax Rebate & The Emerald
    Prepaid MasterCard"
on the right side under the podcast section

if you recieved your refund on your emerald card, and did not apply for a ral or a rac you will recieve your rebate as a direct deposit. if you filed for an advance through household bank ie. hr block, you will recieve a paper check

I also had our tax refund put on the emerald card. I've heard both yes and no. IRs told me to call H&R Block so I did, and they said at this time we will get a paper check in the mail. She also said to hang onto my card just in case they change their minds and put the rebate on the card. So I guess we will have to wait and see.

It seems like nobody really "knows" the answer. Of all the posts I have read even the IRS and H&R Block seem wishy washy about the rebate and the Emerald Card.
But I would think if we filled out the correct direct deposit info on our 1040 that the irs would try that reguardless. We use the direct deposit info on this account for everything else, paypal, etc. It seems it would work. But like everyone else that is just my opinion.
I have one and I am not really expecting it to be on there even by Friday evening. But if it does work…I'll be posting it to let yall know.

I just called my card and it had a recording that if you received your refund on the emerald card then you're rebate will be sent by check.

I callled the card line, and they said that if you had your refund direct deposited DIRECTLY from the IRS, meaning you had to pay your tax prep fees up front, than it will be on the card. I called the IRS to verify and they said they have my direct deposit info on file. They didn't have any info on when payments would hit, except that most of the time payments hit on a Friday.

i spent over an hour speaking to both hr block and emerald. The hold time for both were ridiculous. Simple put emerald didn't file our taxes and weren't sure. Spoke to two agents at hrblock, 1st one was rude and hung up. The second one was informative. Although my boyfriend and I filed our taxes seperate and different we both used emerald, when we got our refund it was after the fees so therefore it will be sent in a check because of the whole hr block temporary acct process. Don't bother calling it's frankly a waste of time just assume it will come in check format.
