How long before I get my stimulus check after notification?
I got my letter in the mail stating how much my check would be and that I should be getting it by this Friday. How long it did take for everyone else to get their check once they got this notice?? I tried the Where is my stimulus check on the IRS website, but it isn't or working or doesn't on my computer. Thnks

the letter and checks are received with in days of each other.
Since you have your letter you don't need to check the IRS website. Be patient it might be in your mailbox right now.
It all depends from where your check is mailed from and how long the post office takes to deliver your mail. My check was issued from Philadelpia and I live in TX.

Actually, the letter should have said MAILED by Friday. Most checks come from Austin, Texas and should take a few days.

I got the notice and the check on the same day ! So I'm not sure. I first opened the notice went through the rest of my mail and there was the check!
EDIT: I recv'd my chk on time my last two digits are 25

There is no set time as to when the check will come in once you receive the letter. It will probably be a few days later than what is stated but i know people who have received the check before the letter. Such as myself.

The date on the letter is the date it will be mailed by, so you should have it by sometime next week.

heather, did you receive the check early? were you in the ss # for the 6/20 processing/mailing?
