Is anyone who may be waiting for their IRS stimulus check finding out that its not being deposited on time?
My stimulus check was to be direct deposited on May 9th. As of 10:42 on the 10th,it's still not in my account. I was curious to find out if anyone else was experiencinf this problem.I spoke to my bank and they told me when the first wave of checks began hitting last week that a lot of them weren't showing up until the following Monday. Can anyone let me know if they experienced the same type of delay if you already got your check?

The published schedule is an ESTIMATE ONLY. Allow at least 2 weeks for the actual payment.
Also keep in mind that if you had your tax prep fees withheld from your refund the stimulus payment will arrive by mail.
Finally, if your tax refund was captured for certain tax or non-tax debts such as Federal or State income taxes or other Federal debts, unpaid child support, or unpaid student loans in default your stimulus payment will be captured as well and applied to the debts. A spouse can protect their share of any refunds or rebates by filing Form 8379 with the IRS.

I thought I was getting mine too and it didn't arrive. The local tv "money" guy said that they will be deposited STARTING on the 9th for certain SS#. It also was supposed to depend on whether you filed yourself or through someone like H&R Block, but two co-workers had theirs deposited and I didn't (I filed myself - they used H&R Block).

It might depend on the bank. Mine is BestBank and Mine was Deposited on the 9th around 4am and it was available..when I the bank opened when I went to withdraw it.

YES,LOTS OF FOLKS ARE B/C IF SOMETIMES IF A DEPOSIT IS MADE ON A FRIDAY SOME BANKS MAY TAKE 1 - 2 DAYS TO PROCESS THE CHECK AND CLEAR IT. SO MOST DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO MONEY TIL MONDAY MOST LIKELY OR MAYBE THAT TUESDAY.

I still have not received mine either. I am hoping that it will show up monday or tuesday. the gov't is just slow sometimes.

The same thing here - filed thru Turbo Tax and should've had a deposit by May 9th. Hopefully we'll see it Monday…?

With millions of accounts I can understand some glitches may occur but I got my rebate right on time as was noted in the IRS schedule.

I used turbo tax, and did the direct deposit, and was supposed to receive my money on the 9th, as of today I am still waiting, so I do not know when I am to get it, I am hoping it will be there on monday, but who knows with the gov't.

I have woodforest bank and my friends have wamu. We all had direct deposit and none of us got a check. I sure hope it is there on monday because I already spent mine!

If you used a thrid party and had the fees taken out of your refund, you'll receive a check even if you had direct depoist for your refund. Its funny how they don't tell you these things.
