Is WIC (Women’s, Infant’s, and Childrens pregram) getting more benefits fom the 2009 stimulus package?
I was just wondering if the 2009 stimulus package that Obama passed would have any effect on WIC. I thought maybe they would maybe increase certain food or things or add things if it was one of the programs thats part of the stimulus program?

I dont think specifically the package will increase WIC, but it may set aside some money for state funded programs such as WIC and then it would be up to the states to decide that.
P.S. Wudbiser, you have no idea. The only time women get WIC is whren they are pregnant, postpartum or breastfeeding, which is the most essential time in their life for nutrients and is still in essence meant for the children, even when women get the food (such as when breastfeeding and pregnant). They don't cover men because there is no critical time in a man's life for nutrients as there is for women.
And to Mr. Blank, she never said anything about receiving a welfare check so seriously i dont even know why you commented.

I currently get WIC
My daughter is 8 months old now, and at 5 months they cut my milk, eggs, cheese… Mine. She now only gets her formula. Juicy juice is no longer up there nor name brand cereals.
So far no changes in WIC, I hope to see some soon, milk is as much as gas now and so is cheese!

i hope so recently they made some cuts to my vouchers and it has really made a difference and not a good one…
