Note that it will take the Postal Service a few days to deliver it after it is mailed, so if it is mailed according to the IRS schedule on 7/11, you may not get it until early in the week of 7/14.
Some rebate checks in a given SSN range go out earlier in the week, but there does not appear to be any recognizable pattern to predict which checks get mailed out earlier in the week.
I was scheduled to received my rebate check on the 15th of June well. Needless to say I did not receive it on that date. However I did get it two days later. That seems to be the consensus of many people. If your day somehow falls on Friday, chances are you'll get it on Monday. However if you want to get the information in your ear contact the IRS via 866.234.2942. It will take you through a prompt of responses such as ssi, know your filing status (single, married, etc) and what form you used. Or just check http://www.irs.gov. However, a hint to the wise. Don't plan an event based on receiving your check on Friday 7/11. You may be disappointed. (enjoy your money and spend it wisely). |>:
You will most likely get the check between July 10th and July 21st. Mailing times vary based on the mailing times between the mailing center and your house.

Unfortunately, the letters are poorly worded. They should state that the check will be MAILED on the particular date.
