Assuming you are an adult, the IRS will automatically consider your for a stimulus rebate.
The rebate will be sent either as a check (for most people) or as direct deposit if your ORIGINAL refund was direct deposited by the IRS into your bank account. If you had a preparer do the deposit, it's a check.

The stimulus check comes automatically if you qualify and if you filed taxes this year. Most people are eligible for $600, that is what I got and most people I know, you only get less if you made a ton of money, I think it was $100,000 or more or if you claimed less than $300 tax on your return.
There is no way to tell them how you want the check at this point, they will send it as direct deposit if that is how you asked for your refund (if you got one) to be sent, otherwise it will come in the mail as a regular check.
