When will I get my stimulus check that was supposedly already mailed?
I checked the IRS website, and it states my stimulus check was mailed on May 23rd. Shouldnt I have received it by now? How long should I wait before I contact them about it?

They quote that it should be received 3-5 days after the supposed mail date. This is a lie!!! I know some that have been waiting since mid-May for their mailed check.
My hubby and I both were supposed to get our checks on May 9th originally and then we found out about the direct deposit issue with Turbo Tax, H&R Block, etc.
I have tried the "Where's my Stimulus check"? link and it doesn't work or it's down. Sorry to be cynical, I would call. For something called a stimulus check, the only the gov't stimulated it my frustration.
Good luck getting the $$$.

They cannot do anything until 6 weeks from the mailing date.

If you are in the US, two weeks is an awfully long time for mail to get to you. But they won't look into it until it's been 6 weeks, so sounds like you'll have to wait awhile.

First, is the address on your 2007 return the same as where you live now? It would get mailed to that 2007 address.
Secondly, did you get direct deposit (if so, it won't be in the mail).
Third, do you have a roommate that might have taken it and either destroyed it or cashed it with false ID?
Sorry… it is such a hassle dealing with the government!

How can we fin out when was our stimulus check was mailed out or whan is going to be mailed out.i checked the irs website and it showes noting

The website "is" working and will show your info. (scheduled mail date) approximately 1 week before your check will be mailed. My info was blank until just about a week and mine is scheduled to mailed today.
