Where do I get information on the 2009 stimulus check for law passed in February, 2009?
I can't find the 2009 stimulus check in irs.gov and treasury.gov. It is all about the 2008 check.

There is no 2009 stimulus check. The stimulus money isn't being paid directly to taxpayers as it was last year.

There is no actual check being issued to tax payers for 2009. Instead you're suppose to see a reduction in the amount of taxes being taken out of your paycheck by the gov't. (I think its about $10 a paycheck for the average person) That's Obama's idea of giving you a stimulus rebate.

you will only get a check if you are on disability or whatever. people who work will see a tiny bit of money on there paychecks.

You should see a reduction in the amount of tax taken out of your paychecks.

There is a second chance at the full amount from last year. It is called the recovery rebate credit and needs to be filed on your 2008 tax return. This credit will supplement the stimulus amount from last year if you did not receive the full amount from last year. So for instance if you had high income in 2007 but lost that income in 2008, the IRS will review the stimulus amount you received and you could possibly get the difference as a credit on this years return.
