Will I get Stimulus check if I got state check sent to home?
Hello,
I am worried that IRS might have the wrong address on file for me. I filed my 2007 taxes with my current address, and received my state check in the mail, but I have not gotten the letter that states that I am going to get my stimulus check. Should I be worried that they are going to send the stimulus check to my last address which was in 2006?

Just give them a call to make sure they have the correct adress, i actually did this yesterday and they didnt even put me on hold. To talk to a live person like i did you have to call before 10pm PST. 1800-829-1040

I wouldn't worry, since you received your state check at the correct address. Not everyone got the letter either, I actually didn't receive my letter until after I got the check.

That is a calculator, and I believe once you fill it in it will give you a timetable for when the checks will be mailed out.
They will send it the same place as your 2007 return, don't worry.

Not everyone got a letter. The stimulus check is based on your 2007 information not 2006, so I don't understand why they would send it to a 2006 address when you already received your state check at a different address. Go to IRS.GOV for anymore questions or just call the IRS yourself.

The address the IRS has is the one on your most recent return unless you have filed a form 8822 since then to change it.
