Will I still recieve a Stimulus payment if my taxes were filed with an extention?

Also, is the stimulus payment amount included in my total tax return amount, or is it completely seperate?

I'm so lost when it comes to tax stuff….

Thanks!

If you qualify for a payment, you can ensure that you get it by filing your return by Oct. 15, 2008.
It will generally take a minimum of six weeks after you file your return to get your stimulus payment.
There will be two payments. You will receive one payment for your regular tax refund and later you will receive a separate stimulus payment.
